As we stroll downhill through winding cobbled streets and hidden courtyards, we’ll explain how Czech cuisine came to be — influenced by rural traditions, imperial history, and local ingenuity. You’ll gain insight into what Czechs eat and why they eat it.

You’ll sample Czech beer snacks and appetizers, street food, traditional sweets from a student-loved café, countryside-style dishes. While Czech cuisine leans into meat and dairy, we’re happy to accommodate vegetarians too.

Though we don’t meet the business owners directly, our guide shares their stories and what it takes to stay independent in a tourist-saturated area.
