About the tour

Discover a different side of Prague on this small-group walking tour through the city’s charming Little Quarter (Malá Strana), also known as Lesser Town.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
Away from the busy Old Town crowds, this experience explores hidden streets, peaceful courtyards, local legends, and some of Prague’s most atmospheric corners.

Tucked beneath Prague Castle and stretching along the Vltava River, the Little Quarter is one of Prague’s most beautiful and historic neighborhoods. While many visitors only pass through on their way to the castle, this tour reveals the quieter side locals still love — full of hidden passages, Baroque palaces, secret gardens, traditional house signs, riverside views, and stories that bring the neighborhood to life.

During this Prague walking tour, we explore elegant streets around Malostranské Square, the charming Kampa Island, the famous John Lennon Wall, and lesser-known corners away from the main tourist routes. Along the way, your local guide shares Prague legends, ghost stories, folklore, and insights into everyday life in one of the city’s most unique districts.

Unlike large group tours focused only on dates and famous landmarks, this walk is designed to capture the atmosphere and character of Prague through storytelling, architecture, local culture, and carefully chosen hidden details. The pace is relaxed and thoughtfully balanced between walking, conversation, and time to simply enjoy the surroundings.

We also stop for a drink at one of our favorite local cafés, offering a chance to slow down and experience the neighborhood the PragueWay way.

From March to October, the tour includes admission to the beautiful Vrtba Garden, one of Prague’s hidden Baroque treasures. During the winter season, we instead visit the magnificent interior of St. Nicholas Church. We also visit the famous Church of Our Lady Victorious, home to the celebrated Infant Jesus of Prague – one of the city’s most iconic and internationally known religious symbols.

Whether it’s your first time in Prague or your fifth, this Little Quarter walking tour offers a deeper and more authentic side of the city that many visitors never discover.
